Thank you to the consumers who participated in and shared their views with us as part of the Health Needs Assessment (HNA) consumer prioritisation process.  We have prepared a document summarising the process and describing the findings.  We will synthesise the findings of this work with those from the prioritisation activities undertaken by Metro South Health (MSH) executives, clinicians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, to produce a list of the top 15 health need themes most important for action and advocacy by MSH over the next 2-3 years.  We expect this work will be completed in May 2022, at which time we will share it with consumers and other interested stakeholders.

Overview

This survey enables you to prioritise the 31 health need themes that have been identified so far during the Metro South Health (MSH) 2021 health needs asssessment initiative.  We would like you to place the 31 themes in order of importance, taking into account the critieria described in the Prioritisation Guide and your personal experiences and views.

For easy reference, the Prioritisation Guide is attached here.  We have also sent it to you by email.

What happens next

Once you and other consumer participants have submitted your responses, we will meet online again on Monday 7 March to review and further refine the most important priorities emerging from the 2021 MSH health needs assessment initiative.

Thanks for your assistance and we look forward to meeting online with you on 7 March for further discussion.
