Metro South Health is committed to providing meaningful and easily accessible Quality and Safety Performance Reports to you, our patients, family members and visitors.

To achieve this, we would like to ask your opinion about how we can develop and provide you with easy-to-read reports on how we are performing as a hospital.

Any information obtained during this project will remain confidential.  All comments and responses will be treated confidentially and your identity will be anonymous.  As this is an exploratory project the data may be used by the researcher in similar research projects in the future but will be reported as a summary in a de-identified way.

For the purpose of data analysis by the researcher, the survey results will be stored securely for 7 years before being destroyed.

This survey will take approximalty 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for your feedback which will help us to develop and distribute future publicly reported Quality and Safety Reports that meet your needs.

Why We Are Consulting

The aim of this project is to increase consumer satisfaction with accessing and understanding of publicly reported quality and safety information.  Specifically, exploring what quality and safety reports our consumers would like to read, in what layout, and how they would prefer to access this information, making these reports more meaningful to our consumers.

Based on the consumer feedback from this survey the researcher will be developing some trial reports.  If you would like to participate in giving feeback please email the research via the following link

What Happens Next

Based on the consumer feedback from this survey there will be some trial reports developed.  The Princess Alexandra Hospital Consumer Consultative Committee will be key stakeholders in a series of pilot tests to determine their satisfaction with the layout, content and accessiblity of these trial reports.
