Everyday Metro South Health engage with patients, consumers, carers, and community to actively work together to ensure care is safe, high quality and meets people's needs. Metro South Health wants to keep improving how we engage and form meaningful connections with consumers and community.

Metro South Health Consumer and Community Engagement Strategy (2023-2026) sets the foundation of how we will work collaboratively with staff, consumers, and community. The 5 focus areas for 2023-2026 will include:

  1. Consumer Partnering and Patient Experience
  2. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes of staff/ consumers about Consumer Partnering
  3. Innovative Ways to Connect with Community
  4. Diversity and Inclusion in Healthcare
  5. Use Research and Data to inform Consumer Partnering
